Background: Gil Reid-Robbins runs the consulting arm of the British Printing Industries Federation, BPIF Business and also Vision in Print (ViP). BPIF Business complements ViP's lean manufacturing improvement services by providing bespoke consulting and short courses in the four areas of Health, Safety, Environment & Quality, Technical, HR and Business Development. Besides the team of ten ViP Engineers, there is a team of around 50 print experts delivering high quality, value for money support for the UK graphic arts sector. Together the businesses deal with over 2000 enquiries for support from both businesses each year. Gil manages both consulting teams with the aim of ensuring that UK printers can benefit fully from the range and depth of complementary expertise from a single interface, helping to promote competitiveness and raise profitability.
Mark Guyer

Background: Mark Guyer holds a degree in Engineering and Materials Science and an MBA. Based in Southampton, he was previously Manufacturing Operations Manager with a large mobile telecommunications handset manufacturer, where his responsibilities included on-time delivery performance, quality, engineering and logistics, materials planning and health and safety.
Matthew Peacock

Background: Matthew Peacock holds a degree in Production Engineering and a Post-Graduate Certificate in Management. Based In Chester, he was previously Managing Director of a company manufacturing glass and carbon fibre composite profiles, where his responsibilities included business development, product engineering, manufacturing engineering, quality, materials control and forecasting/budgeting.
Graeme Faulkner

Background: Graeme Faulkner holds a degree in Manufacturing Engineering and Management. Based in the East Midlands, he was previously Process and Product Engineer for a large PC and mobile handset manufacturing supplier, where his responsibilities included improving assembly processes and project leader for Continuous Improvement programmes in their factories in the UK, China and Eastern Europe.
Paul Gamble

Background: Paul Gamble graduated in Chemical & Process Engingeering from the University of Surrey. He has since spent six years in with British American Tobacco in a variety of manufacturing roles focussing on process improvement via lean techniques. He is now based in London.
Jean-Paul Wheater

Background: Jean-Paul is MBA qualified with over 12 years experience in Operational Management and Industrial Engineering. Based in Nottinghamshire, his prior role was at group level with a pan European supplier of polyurethane foam to the furniture, bedding and insulation markets, where he was responsible for process improvement and implementation of 'best practice' throughout the organisations manufacturing and support facilities to effect company wide change to a 'continuous improvement' culture.
Naveen Gautam

Background: Background: Naveen Gautam graduated from the University of Glasgow with a degree in Electrical and Electronic Engineering specialising in Optoelectronics and Engineering Management and has over seven years experience in the Semiconductor manufacturing industry. Based in the North West, Naveen was previously a Senior Lithography Process Engineer for a large global corporation and was responsible for developing and optimising all processes under his command using Six Sigma and Lean Methodologies.
Andy Birkett

Background: Andy Birkett graduated from the University of Southampton with a Masters in Aerospace engineering. He previously spent 3 years working for Rolls-Royce Defence Aerospace as a development and process improvement engineer, implementing six sigma and lean methodologies into gas turbine assembly and test operations.
Richard Danby

Background: Richard Danby graduated from the University of Northampton with a HND in mechanical engineering and has over 9 years experience in a Mechanical Engineering environment, with a degree of Operational Management. Richard as also completed a Craft Apprenticeship and City and Guilds 228 engineering based qualification. Based in Northampton, his prior roles were at an automotive engine manufacturer, supplying 3 major OEM's and a Formula One engine supplier of up to 3 teams. In these roles Richard was responsible for process improvement and implementation of 'lean methodologies' across the organisation.
Christian Charlton

Background: Christian holds a degree in Mechanical & Manufacturing Systems from the University of Lincolnshire and Humberside, and has 10 years experience within the Print and Packaging industry. He developed his knowledge of Lean tools and project management techniques whilst working in the corrugated packaging sector. Christian then moved over to Polestar to share his experience and knowledge of Lean tools as a continuous improvement engineer. Christian has spent the last two years working for Prinovis Liverpool, starting as a Shift Manager.
Jennie Davis

Helen Dunn

Background: Helen Dunn has a BSc in Marketing and has held marketing positions in both the public and private sectors where she has been involved in business development and all aspects of the marketing and communications mix.
