Materials Waste Reduction programme

Vision in Print can show you how to save up to 5% of your material spend whether it is on paper, film or board.

Our Material Waste Reduction programme (MWR) is 6 days spread over two months. It focuses on identifying, measuring and reducing waste materials from all aspects of a printer's value stream and is suitable for companies large or small.

This ViP programme has already been very successful with printers across sectors. A large web printer reduced running waste from 12.5 % to 4.5% which equates to a £212,000 cash saving per annum. Another reduced slab waste by about 50% resulting in a £43,000 saving in year one. A flexible packaging printer that undertook MWR succeeded in reducing film wasted during makeready and colour matching by 19%.
