MIS Best Practice Report is launched

We are proud to announce the publication of our latest Best practice Study, this one is about the use of MIS in print. The study found that most printers understand well the role of the MIS to give speed and efficiency to their administration, but few were exploiting the power of an MIS to measure, control and develop a business.

The study conducted for ViP by Pira, was deliberately kept focussed on smaller companies. There was an initial industry survey across both printers and MIS suppliers designed to establish current practice. Also 11 detailed case studies were conducted with printers who really have harnassed the power of their MIS more effectively that most of their competitors. These companies are using MIS to measure and analyse and predict performance across the broad sweep of Sales, Customer Service and Finance as well as Production.
