Howard Smith Snapshot Plus

Over 500 print and packaging companies have benefited from the Howard Smith Snapshot over the last five years. It is the gold standard in bench marking operational performance in the sector. But even more businesses are likely to take it up in the future, since the diagnostic now includes more advanced data feedback.

The new Snapshot Plus still offers the core benefits of Snapshot. These include a high level process map showing the interaction of material and information flow in your operations, highlighting bottlenecks and streamlining opportunities. Another key benefit is a report comparing your company's operations with those of over 500 UK print and packaging companies,
reviewing 14 criteria such as KPI's, employee involvement, customer service, visual management, workplace organisation etc.

Now though, ViP has added an analysis of eight major operational measures that quantify your customer service, costs and productivity. If all data is not available, the ViP engineer will advise on how data can be collected and used to drive continuous improvement. Snapshot's success is due to it providing non-judgmental feedback on a company's operational performance and a checklist of activities to transform it.

The Howard Smith Snapshot Plus process is designed to provide comprehensive and insightful reporting, with minimum effort from you and your staff, in just two days. Feedback is given at the end of the second day. The results are often striking.

Dave Brenton, General Manager of MPG Books Ltd, summed up the Snapshot Development as a 'very valuable review of progress that has heartened the whole team'. He added: 'We are determined to press on and achieve our
goal of sustainable continuous improvement.'

Thanks to sponsorship by Howard Smith Paper Group, the total cost to you for the two days is discounted to just £700 + VAT, plus expenses. Your report and the content detail are confidential; Vision in Print never discloses these to third parties.
